Vomiting after placing misoprostol under the tongue

  • After 20 minutes: don’t worry, this will not influence the process. You can continue to follow the instructions.
  • Before 20 minutes: it is possible the misoprostol will have less or no effect: In that case, you can place another 4 misoprostol pills (200 mcg each) under your tongue when you feel less nauseous, but not later than 72 hours after taking the mifepristone. If you are only using misoprostol, you can start the process from the beginning as soon as you are less nauseous.
