妊娠週数はどのように計算できますか。

妊娠検査をしていない方は、検査をしてください。検査によって妊娠が確定します。

最後の月経が始まった日（LMP）からの週数を数えることで、妊娠週数を推定できます。カレンダーや妊娠週数計算ツールを使うと便利です。

注意: 妊娠の長さを数えるときは、妊娠につながった性交があった日ではなく、最後の生理が始まった日から数えます。

以下のような場合で、妊娠週数を計算できないとき、超音波検査を受ければ、正確な妊娠週数が分かります。

• 最後の3 回の月経が不規則であったとき。
• 授乳中で、月経が再開していないとき。
• ホルモン避妊薬を使用しているとき。例えば、ホルモン避妊薬（ピル）、避妊パッチ、避妊リング、注射、インプラント、そしてホルモン子宮内避妊器具（IUD）など。

中絶薬を服用するにあたって、月経周期が規則的であれば、超音波検査を受ける必要はありません。

月経が来るはずだった日から１週間後には、超音波検査で妊娠の確認ができます。子宮の外に胎児がある場合を子宮外妊娠と呼びますが、子宮外妊娠の場合、中絶薬で中絶はできません。妊娠は継続しませんし、胎児が大きくなると危険です。医療処置を受けてください。ただし、子宮外妊娠は非常にまれで、全妊娠の1%未満です。
