Switzerland: changes in the number of abortions

According to the Sunday edition of Tages-Anzeiger the number of teenage abortions has almost halved, which contradicts the widespread belief that abortions are typically requested by young, uneducated, low-income women. But women in all other age groups are increasingly terminating their pregnancy. Doctor Theres Blöchlinger told the German-language newspaper that one of the reasons for this upward trend may be that women are becoming pregnant later.
