هل هناك حاجة إلى تصوير بالموجات فوق الصوتية (ألتراساوند) قبل الإجهاض عن طريق الحبوب؟

لا. تُعدّ الموجات فوق الصوتية غير ضرورية قبل الإجهاض عن طريق الحبوب. في معظم الحالات، يستطيع الأشخاص تقدير عمر الحمل بأنفسهم، ولا يحتاجون إلى تصويرٍ بالموجات فوق الصوتية لذلك.

نوصي بإجراء تصويرٍ بالموجات فوق الصوتية في بعض الحالات، مثل عندما:

• كانت آخرُ ثلاث دوراتٍ شهرية غير منتظمة.
• في حال الإرضاع وعدم عودة الدورة الشهرية بعد.
• في حال استخدام وسائل منع حمل هرمونية.
• في حال وجود علامات تشير إلى حمل خارج الرحم (حمل مُنتبِذ).

قد يمنح التصوير بالموجات فوق الصوتية قبل الإجهاض عن طريق الحبوب بعضَ الأشخاص طمأنينة. وإن كان ذلك ينطبق عليك، فهذا سببٌ وجيه لإجرائه.
