In some countries doctors, nurses and others helping a woman with an abortion and woman who had an abortion are denounced, procesuted and imprisoned. Where does this happen, why and what can we do about it?

As a USA citizen I watch in horror as abortion rights are slowly being taken away from women and the men who support a woman's choice.
As a human being and a future nurse I can make sure I do not make judgments about a person's abortion. We can never truely know what another person's life is like. If abortions ever become illegal in this country, I will not, NOT report any patient who attempt an illegal abortion.
I would support and help a women get an abortion.
