Well, some people said that was the right thing because if I had a kid I couln´t be able to continue studing or working what I wnated to..having a kid is hard and expensive and that meant putting a stone in my future and my boyfriend´s. People is sometimes sad but says that was our decision as a couple because was a mistake and we have another opportunity to have realized our situation and planning our future.

Bueno, había quien decía que fue lo correcto, porque si tenía un niño no iba a poder continuar estudiando ni trabajando en lo quisiera...tener un niño es caro y difícil y ello significa colocoar una piedra en el camino para mi futuro y el de mi novio. A veces la gente se pone triste, pero dicen que fue nuestra decisión como pareja porque fue u error y tenemos otra oportunidad para habernos dado cuenta de nuestra situación y planificar nuestro futuro.

I feel happy because was in a healthy and serious place but at the same time feel frustated about those girls that can´t have access to information and wich lives are in danger, because has resigned to have the baby or because have been forced to take desperated actions.

Me siento feliz porque fue en sitio sano y serio, pero frustada por aquellas que no tienen dinero ni información, y cuyas vidas corren peligro, bien sea porque se han resignado a tener el bebé o porque han tenido que recurrir a medidas desesperadas.

It was in two opportunities, one in 2000, it was natural abortion, but if I had to go to a doctor I had gone to one, because I was 16 years, I was in hihgschool and the father had no education nor work. It would has been dangerous because as a child I was afraid, didin´t know who I could go and had no money.
The second was inducted, in 2003, in that ocassion di´n´t wantd to continue the pregnancy because me and my couple were studing at university and didn´t felt prepared to be parents yet. I was lucky of having money and a friend who recomended me a doctor.
Since that time I´m more carefull using anticonceptive methods.

Fue en dos oportunidades, una en 2000, que fue aborto natural, pero si hubiera tenido que abortar con un médico hubiera recurrido a él, pues tenía 16 años, no me había graduado de secundaria y además el padre no tenía tampoco educación ni trabajo. Hubiera sido peligroso porque como niña que era tenía miedo y no sabía a quien acudir ni tenía dinero.
La segunda fue inducida, en 2003, tampoco quise seguir el embarazo, pues mi pareja y yo seguíamos estudiando en la universidad y aún no nos sentíamos preparados para ser padres. Tuve suerte de tener dinero y un amigo que me recomendara un doctor.
A partir de ese entonces uso métodos anticonceptivos con mayor cuidado.
