The staff were supportive. Having birth control education with a group of other women seemed a bit impersonal, but otherwise the care was quite personal and private.
Reason for abortion: my age (too young or old)
My boyfriend (now my husband) and I did not expect to marry, and neither of was emotionally equipped to be a parent at the time. We were immature and lacked social support. I was 24.
Feelings about abortion: grieving, resolved, afraid, sad
At the time, I was afraid. Now, I feel slight regret, but know that it was a choice made by a different me at a different time.
