Not very many people know. Those that do are supportive. Those who I think wouldn't support me don't know.

The experience itself was fairly traumatic.

I really would have had the baby, if it wasn'tfor who his or her father was. If he had been willing to accept, supprt, and most importantly LOVE the child, it would have made a world of difference. I loved this baby with all my heart, and I thought I was doing what was best for it...
I could imagine Peanut's life with a father that resented it, and having that kind of role model for a father... I can just imagine it destroying his or her life.

I think a lot of people think that women who have had abortions have them because they were irresponsible or stupid about birth control. I am mostly angry at a society that is so accepting of pre-martial sex, and then puts women in situations like this where we have to make these difficult decisions.
I took the morning after pill, and had a 2% chance or less of getting pregnant... and still did. It makes me so frustrated.
And the fact that the man can wash his hands of the whole situation and never even feels an ounce of the pain I went through while making this decision... and still do now.
